About Judge Multack

Judge Spencer Multack has served the people of Florida as a judge since 2011. He was first appointed to the County Court bench by Governor Rick Scott and was re-elected without opposition in 2014. In 2016, Governor Scott appointed him to the Circuit Court, and he was again re-elected without opposition in 2020.

Over the course of his judicial career, Judge Multack has presided in multiple divisions, including:

County Criminal, Domestic Violence, County Civil, Circuit Criminal, Family Division

In addition to his judicial service, Judge Multack has remained committed to legal education. He has taught at the high school, college, and law school levels, and currently serves as a faculty member for the Florida Judicial College, where he develops and teaches courses for members of Florida’s judiciary. He has also lectured extensively to lawyers on a wide range of legal topics.

Before taking the bench, Judge Multack spent a decade as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida’s 17th Judicial Circuit. His legal career began in the 11th Judicial Circuit, where he served as a certified legal intern. He has been board-certified in Criminal Trial Law since 2009. Between his time as a lawyer and a judge he has tried and presided over 200 jury trials.

Judge Multack is a lifelong Floridian. He attended North Beach Elementary and graduated from Ransom Everglades High School. He holds a dual degree from Syracuse University and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law.

Spencer has been married to his wife, Michelle, since 2019. They live in North Dade with their blended family.
